OC and Team Hunter: Another hit from the community

The idea of philanthropy is not about how many people see and recognize what a person is giving. It is a selfless act that should be effective at helping other’s without the noise of accolades to the actual giver.

This week The Pine Bluff Commercial hailed the efforts of its native son Torii Hunter, who along with his wife Katrina and the persistent assistance of Odyssey’s CEO Jerricka Kelly are making positive changes in the community where they each grew up.

Columnist for The Pine Bluff Commercial, Chan Davis wrote, “As Hunter prepares for the upcoming season, his on-field efforts become priority. His focus unwavering from the professional path he chose. Yet, through assistance from ground troops in various cities, including Pine Bluff, his off-field efforts continue.”

Those ground troops include committed Team Hunter players such as Jerricka Kelly, who remarks in the article, “He and his wife (Katrina) are both natives of Pine Bluff. Both graduated from Pine Bluff High School. They are private in their giving because they are doing it because it needs to be done…”

Giving back to each community we are a part of builds hope as well as personal character. Odyssey Concierge salutes the continued efforts of The Torii Hunter Project and its ambitious intent to diligently serve the community.

Odyssey Concierge: Dreams and Dresses

Every young lady dreams of being a princess, even if it is only for one night. The Prom Shop Project along with the help of Khloe Kardashian-Odom is making those dreams come true.

The Prom Shop Project, featured on ABC’s World News with Diane Sawyer, Fox 4 and WFAA, was founded in 2001 by Kim Peters.
Kim's desire to make a positive impact on young women in the community is still going strong as her tremendous effort in giving continues. March 31st 11am-2pm Project Prom dress will be underway, giving away hundreds of dresses to deserving young ladies from all over the Metroplex.
What’s so special about this year is KHLOE KARDASHIAN-ODOM will be donating over 150 awesome evening gowns along with 500 goodie bags packed with pleasing surprises.

But wait there is more…
Khloe will be searching for a little Cinderella to provide the perfect prom ensemble for this year’s Prom Shop Project. If you know of a deserving young lady, please encourage her to go to the Prom Shop Project website and send a message to Khloe explaining why she should be chosen as Khloe’s little Cinderella.

Odyssey Concierge will of course be lending their support to ensure that each young lady finds the prom dress of her dreams and transform into the princess she has always dreamed of becoming.

Torii Hunter Makes Spring Training News

All eyes and camera’s seem to be enamored with OC’s client Torii Hunter as the final year of his contract with the Los Angeles Angels draws near.

"I'm just going to keep playing and get it out of my system, because I don't want to go home and be like, 'I've got like two or three years left,'" Hunter said. "I know I've got two or three good years in me. My body's good, my athletic ability is good. I can go out there and play.” Hunter told ESPN LA.
“A four-time All-Star and winner of nine straight Gold Gloves, Hunter has played in 34 career postseason games -- 13 with the Angels from 2008-09 -- but has never played in the World Series.” ( LosAngeles.Angels.mlb.com ) Hmmm, could we see Torii playing closer to home, say, Arlington closer?

Odyssey Concierge would like to wish client Torii the best season ever as opening day is only weeks away!
